Judge's comment
Few original Chinese picture books show children's temper and emotion. Laima in an exaggerate and humorous manner reveals how anger may influence oneself and others. He also develops the plot by showing Aguli's levels of anger with fold-over pages. The concise text, enriched image, and vibrant story already make children unleash their anger during their reading. Once carefully observing each character in this book, it's not hard to find that Laima does not focus on anger commonly seen in our daily life only. He also involves fear and worry, and turns these negative emotions into positive energy through childlike pictures.
While reading with children, adults can face their own emotional expression. It also reminds us that, like children, we should turn our anger, fear, and worry into positive strengths.
