Sandra Lee
PhD in Early Childhood Education, Southern Illinois University, United States, and lecturer of Montessori Institute-New England in Boston, United States
Sandra Lee earned her doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education at Southern Illinois University, USA. She is currently a lecturer at Montessori Institute-New England in Boston, USA, a teacher, as well as a director at the Faculty of Bilingual Education in Harborlight-Stoneridge Montessori School, and a consultant of Early Childhood Chinese teaching at the Ministry of Education, Singapore. Sandra has been training teachers in early childhood education for years in the United States and Mandarin regions. Her research includes child development, children's literature, bilingual education, course design, childhood language and mathematics teaching, Montessori education, and more. She has been promoting childhood reading, parent-child reading along with parenting and education for years, and is now a columnist for the early childhood education section of CommonWealth Parenting, the monthly magazine in Taiwan. She is the author of Children's Books Aren't Children's Books, Little Book Lovers: The World of Reading to Infants 0 to 3, Let Children Be Themselves at Their Ease, and Help Babies Enjoy Reading: a Magnifier for Reading Behavior of Infants 0 to 3.
