She is a professor in the department of Chinese Language and Literature at Nanjing Normal University. She teaches Chinese modern literature and children's literature. She has published many articles about Chinese children’s and translated some English children’s novel into Chinese. One of her research goals is to propel communications of Chinese and other countries’ children’s literature.
