Chair of Education Development Committee, Tiantu Education Foundation, and former principal of Houhai Primary School, Shenzhen

Yuan Xiaofeng is a member of Academic Board of China Research Center for Children's Reading, a writer of Chinese language teaching material published by People's Education Press, and an education consultant in western China. She has been awarded with 1st (Year 2012) National Top Ten People in Reading by General Administration of Press and Publication, and National Honor of Ten Most Important People in Reading Promotion by China Education Daily.

Yuan is a guest lecturer at Guangdong Principals'Training Center, provides expert guidance on Guangdong basic education, is an expert on primary Chinese language education, and was honored as Outstanding Principal at 1st Guangdong “Star of Reading.”

Yuan is also an educational inspector for the Shenzhen Municipal Government, judge of Excellent Books for Secondary and Primary Students during the Shenzhen Month of Reading, resident guest at Reading while Traveling in Traffic Frequency of Shenzhen Radio Station, special guest at Reading Corner of Shenzhen TV, and is honored with 1st Ten Most Important People to Reading Promotion in Shenzhen, Outstanding Principal of the City, Outstanding Teacher in Continuous Education of the City.

Her publications related to reading include Start for love–First Steps of Parent-Child Reading, Reading Picture Books—Let Children Grow Happily, When Reading with Pleasure Is Ongoing—Voice from a Primary School, and Ms. Yuan Xiaofeng's Reading Sharing Class—Childhood filled with stories.
