Sarah Ko
Children's book critic
She studied philosophy in Fu-Jen Catholic University and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, specializing in philosophy for children and feminism. She taught Children's Literature and Appreciation for Picture Books in the National Normal University and National Taipei University of Education for few years, then became a freelance writer, writing book reviews for newspapers and magazines, so far has been translating over one hundred picture books and young adult novels. She organized workshops, forums and exhibitions relating to picture books, and served as a jury member of several children's book awards. She is currently the consultant of Taiwan Children Reading Association and the Feng Zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Award.
