PhD in Early Childhood Education and professor in School of Education Science, NanJing Normal University

Yu Yongping was born in Wuxian (Wu County), Jiangsu Province. He holds a Doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education and is a professor and supervisor of doctoral students at the School of Education Science, Nanjing Normal University. Yu is currently the president of China National Society of Early Childhood Education, vice chairperson of Early Childhood Expert Committee in Ministry of Education, and vice chairperson of Higher and Early Childhood Education Teacher Training Conduct Committee in Ministry of Education. He was also selected as Cross-Century Academic Leader at Qing Lan Project, Jiangsu Province, Academic Leader of Early Childhood Education–National Key Subject.
