Part-time Lecturer in Chung Yuan Christian University and National Taipei University of Education, expert in art history, art appreciation and picture book appreciation

Song Pei holds a Master's Degree in Art History from the University of California, with Yuan Dynasty artist Wangmeng's scrolls as her thesis topic. After she returned to Taiwan, she gave lectures on Art Appreciation, and started to study and translate picture books. She is now teaching courses such as “Christian Faith and Art” and “Analyzing Life Through Films” in Chung Yuan Christian University, and teaching courses such as “From Picture Book to Art Appreciation” in National Taipei University of Education and Christian Cosmic Light Holistic Care Organization. She works with her husband Chung Junkuang on “Image Versus Pictures,” a column about photography and paintings on Campus Magazine. She has translated Looking at Pictures in Picture Books, The Story of Painting, and more than 40 picture books. She is also the author of Sketchbook.
