Taiwan children's literature critic

Sarah Chien-Hua Ko completed her master's degree in the Department of Philosophy in Fu Jen Catholic University, and is a Ph.D. Candidate in philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at Southern Illinois University, the United States. She has been a lecturer teaching children's literature and picture book appreciation at National Taiwan Normal University and National Taipei University of Education. She is now a children's book translator, critic, publishing consultant, researcher, and judge of various children's literature awards. In 2006, she was a consultant for the Taipei Book Fair Foundation in the Taiwan Pavilion at Bologna Children's Book Fair, Italy. She has translated dozens of children's picture books and young adult fiction books, and has won several children's book awards for her translation.
