This is a picture book which nicely incorporates traditional lotus culture, Chinese art of artistic conception, and popular science of plants. It poetically presents the whole life journey of lotus seeds, that how they sprout, come into leaves, bud, blossom, fruit heart-shaped lotus seeds, and turn to enter the mud again, in the form of Chinese painting. More importantly, this book not only elegantly presents the changes in the four seasons of lotus, but also shows its vigorous vitality, and the cultural charm it contains.
