Book Designer, Illustrator

Professor of Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University, Member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), Deputy Director of Book Designer Society of the Publishers Association of China, Deputy Director of Graphic Design Committee of China Artists Association, Researcher of Design Institute of Chinese National Academy of Arts, Art Director of Jingren Book Design and Chief Editor of Book Design.
Once awarded the Ten Designers Influencing the Fifty Years of Chinese Book Design, Top Ten Asian Designers, Sixty Editors Making Outstanding Contributions to the Sixty Years of New China Books, the First Chinese Artistic Achievement Award and China Design Award Of Merit.
His works have won a number of awards at home and abroad, including the award for German Leipzig World's Most Beautiful Book, Golden Award for National Book Binding Art Exhibition and National Publication Exhibition, hosted by Chinese Government as well as the award for Beauty of Books in China for 13 times, invoLuing complied and translated works. In 2012, he held solo exhibition titled Charm, Book Design Art by Lu Jingren at Klingspor-Museum in Offenbach collecting font design and book art, Germany. In 2014, he served as judge of the award for German Leipzig World's Most Beautiful Book.
