Adeline Ko graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Major in Environmental Design, and in the latter years, received a Master Degree of Education in Chinese Children’s Literature.
In recent years, with a perpetual passion in creating and promoting local picture books for children, she founded her own publishing house “Picture Book Cultural Industry” (PBCI) in 2012. Her books include Unexpected (2014), which was shortlisted in the 4th Feng Zikai Chinese Children’s Picture Book Award; and Waiting, the first prize winner in the 1st Hong Kong Picture Book Award, was published in 2016 and was awarded the Outstanding Chinese Children’s Picture Book Award in the 5th Feng Zikai Chinese Children’s Picture Book Award. Her new books include The Way Home Is No Longer Steep (2019) and Happy Birthday (2020)
