Judge's comment
This is a tragicomedy about “I” and a bicycle. It vividly depicts the trajectory of a child's inner growth via presenting the aspiration of growth from a tiny spot to the whole picture, and from the surface to the depth. The fairytale-like opening is quite creative. It becomes a powerful motif that drives the story forward, and also shows the author's ability in story-telling. The author has an insight in children's life, and wisely adopts the humorous tone in his narration. The cartoon-like illustration further presents the story adequately. Those imaginative and allegorical drawings strengthen the artistic touch in this picture book.
