Zhu Ziqiang
Professor in College of Liberal Arts, Journalism and Communication and Director of Graduate Institute of Children's Literature, Ocean University of China
Zhu Ziqiang is a professor, an instructor of doctoral candidates, and Dean of College of Liberal Arts, Journalism and Communication and Director of Graduate Institute of Children's Literature in Ocean University of China, and Vice Director of National Research Center for Cultural Industry. He used to be visiting scholar in Tokyo Gakugei University and in Osaka Kyoiku University, visiting researcher in International Institute for Children's Literature, Osaka, part-time professor in National Taitung University, Taiwan, visiting professor in the Education University of Hong Kong. He is a doctor of letter, and the committee member of the board of children's literature in China Writer's Association. His main research includes children's literature, children's culture, language education and children's education.
His academic works include Introduction to Children's Literature《兒童文學概論》, The Essence of Children's Literature《兒童文學的本質》, The Progress of Chinese Children's Literature and Modernization《中國兒童文學與現代化進程》, On Japanese Children's Literature《日本兒童文學論》, The Primary Liberal Arts Education《小學語文文學教育》, Zhu Ziquiang's Speeches on Primary Liberal Arts Education and Children's Education 《朱自強小學語文教育與兒童教育講演》. He also co-authored On Chinese Fantasy Fictions《中國幻想小說論》 , The Five People in Chinese Children's Literature《中國兒童文學5人》, Six People's Talk on Chinese Children's Reading《中國兒童閱讀6人談》. Zhu also edited Happy Reader (for primary school use, 12 volumes) 《快樂語文讀本》(小學•12卷), and is a translator of The No No Garden《不不園》, The Little Country That No One Knows《誰也不知道的小小國》.
