An Shih-liu
Judge
An Shiliu is a children’s author from Tainan, Taiwan, with a master’s degree in Children’s Literature from National Taitung University.
She writes across picture books, fairy tales, chapter books, and fiction. Her award-winning titles include Catching Tadpoles on Wednesday Afternoon (Hsin Yi Picture Book Award, Feng Zikai Picture Book Award) and Messy 78 (Hsin Yi Jury Prize).
Her stories have also earned the Mandarin Daily Mu-di Fairy Tale Award and the China Times Short Story Award, with “The Cat in the Wardrobe” later adapted into a television film by Taiwan Public Television. Her collection That Day, You Took a Swan Home was recognized with the Openbook Best Young Adult Book Award and the Taipei International Book Exhibition Prize.
